How I got started in fish keeping

when I got started back in the day when I eight years old my parents brought me to Sears to buy my Toughskins and icee I was so amazed to check out there pets department and my pops bought me my first 10 gallon glass tank and I bought a bag of assorted gold fish (a.k.a. feeders)

when I twelve years old I worked for a pet store as a assistance I was too young to work so the owner was nice enough to give me $20 a week in store credit if I cleaned tanks and get fish and bagged them for customers it was such a cool job, also one of my perks was lunch at Mckie D's on the owner's dime.

as a teen I collected Oscars, Red devils, plecos, etc... then when I was an adult I got married had kids and put up a community tank of Angel fish, gourami, neons...etc for the family

then in my thirty's got that bug again I was introduced by a friend who got me into other exotic fresh water species such as datnoids, perches, etc... then I was introduced to a web site called Monsterfishkeepers and there the bottom of the barrel came off and my passion to collect different exotic and rare species grew.

This is my first blog and I will post more pictures of the fish I keep in the hobby..
